  • Notes

Acer platanoides 'Globosum' is a deciduous tree that is slow growing. This tree has greenish-yellow flowers in the spring. The leaves look spectacular in the fall, unmatched by most. This tree is very adaptable and tolerates many soil and environmental conditions. Some adverse factors of this Acer are that the roots are conditions. Some of the adverse factors are that the roots are voracious and spreading, seeds are self-sowing and aphids can cause honeydew drip and sooty mold.
Planting Instructions: 1. Dig a hole 2 times the width and 1 and 1/2 times the height of the container. 2. Set rootball just above ground level. 3. Mix soil with 25% amendment and %75 soil. 4. Backfill with amended soil. 5. Build basin and water.
