Description

This agave is medium-sized and forms low clumps 3' tall x 4' wide. Striking blue-grey leaves are short & broad with intricate bud prints. Leaves are heavily toothed with dark brown teeth. It is native to Sonora, Mexico and is hardy to 15 degrees F. It is slow growing and does well in full sun and reflected heat exposures. It will also grow in coastal areas with good drainage. Protect from agave snout weevil. It looks great in pots or in the landscape, with bright yellow flowers.-Mountain States Nurs

Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
