Botanical name:Rosa cv. floribunda pink

The dark green, heavily veined leaves of this bushy shrub are strong support for the pink, nearly double flowers it produces. This is a very tolerant, heavily scented plant with an impressive fall color. Also, large hips appear intermittently with this plant.

The Striped Society Garlic is a garlic-scented perennial with green narrow leaves that have white margins to 1' tall. The flowers are lavender clusters on a 1'-2' stem that bloom in the spring and summer. This perennial is drought tolerant once it's established. It tolerates full and part sun.

Red New Zealand Flax

Botanical name:Phormium tenax 'Rubrum'

New Zealand Flax is an excellent accent plant for the garden. Evergreen leaves are long, narrow, and grow upright. Clusters of flowers grow on spikes above the foliage in late spring and summer. 'Rubrum' has dark, purplish-red leaves. It should be grown in full sun.

Wheeler's Dwarf Pittosporum

Botanical name:Pittosporum tobira 'Wheeler's Dwarf'

This handsome dwarf form of the Pittosporum tobira grows into a low, dense mound, 2'-3' tall and 4'-5' wide. This shrub is covered with glossy, evergreen foliage. Small, fragrant, white flowers cover this shrub in spring. It prefers full to part sun and is drought tolerant once its established. Give extra water in summer. Wheeler's Dwarf is dependable and easy to grow. Prune in winter to keep shape.

Botanical name:Hemerocallis hybrids

These summer-blooming perennials form clumps with large, grass-like leaves. Its showy flowers, resembling lilies, are borne in clusters on stems held well above the foliage. Daylilies can be found in many colors: yellow, orange, red, purple, pink or multi-colored. Hemerocallis does better in well-draining soil and with extra summer water. Hemerocallis are very hardy,with few or none pests/problems.

Trailing Gazania, Treasure Flower

Botanical name:Gazania rigens leucolaena

Gazania rigens is a clumping or spreading plant grown for colorful daisies over long bloom season. Tolerates seacoast conditions. Grows well in most soil conditions, and needs only occasional water once established (2-3 times per month).
